The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education is proud to announce that Dr. Gerrick Hampton, Associate Director for the Office of Student Affairs at CHE, has been selected to serve on the National College Attainment Network's (NCAN) 2025 Advisory Task Force.
With over 14 years of dedicated service at the CHE, Hampton oversees critical programs such as the LIFE and SC HOPE Scholarship Programs, Lottery Tuition Assistance, and the South Carolina Residency Program. He also leads the commission's college access initiatives which impact thousands of students across the state, including College Application Month, College Goal South Carolina, and College and Career Decision Day.
The NCAN Advisory Task Force brings together 25 innovative leaders from across the nation to exchange ideas, address challenges, and identify trends in college attainment. Members provide NCAN with invaluable insight into the evolving needs and experiences of students, helping to shape resources and professional development opportunities for its members.
The CHE congratulates Dr. Hampton on this recognition and looks forward to the impact his extensive experience and commitment to supporting students in accessing higher education will have on a national level.
Dr. Hampton presents Belton-Honea Path High School with an award for 2023-24 ACAC School of Excellence.
